Bearing Grease

We at Superior Lubricants are especially proud of our line of extreme pressure greases. While we can accommodate low-pressure applications such as electric motor bearings, our specialty is lubrication of highly loaded bearings common in Steel Mills, Cement Mills, Mining operations etc.

Open Gear Lubricants

Our chemists have extensive experience in formulating lubricants for open gears. When we assembled our team, this was the first application for us and these products continue to get our close attention when it comes to Quality and R&D.

We have open gear products for Mining equipment (Draglines, Shovels) and for downstream crushing equipment.

Besides the obvious goal of keeping gears in service, we consider the following characteristics important

Easy to monitor consumption because of visible film on gears.
Noise reduction.
Sprayable without excessive misting.
Smoothing of contact surfaces.
No accumulation in the gear guard.
Spent product is easy to clean up.

Chain Oils

Superior’s chain oils offer excellent penetration and anti-wear properties. These are the fundamental requirements for this kind of lubricant. Another benefit is good adhesion and resistance to dripping.

In the case of high-temperature chains we offer Superior HT Chain Oil, a product that will not produce deposits on the chain. Not only that, over time its natural detergency will “wash” existing deposits created by inadequate lubricants.

We have the ability to tailor the lubricant to your application and cost requirements.

Specialty oils

Mineral, Synthetic and Biodegradable Oils with special additive packages that support heavy loads and extend equipment life. These come with many OEM approvals and certifications.
