Superior Wire Rope Dressing is a high-viscosity, solvent-free synthetic fluid designed to lubricate wire rope under any conditions, but especially in or near water or other contaminants.

Superior Wire Rope Lubricant penetrates the core of wire ropes of all sizes. Once inside, it starts to increase in viscosity. The increase brings the viscosity to approximately that of honey, improving both wear protection and water resistance. The increased viscosity also prevents loss of lubricant, either from normal cable operation or from washing with water. Savings are achieved through reduced lubricant consumption, but most importantly through extended wire rope life. Cable pulleys and drums also benefit from cable sheathing.
